On Friday 19 May, Tigo Rwanda General Manager Philip Amoateng led the entire Tigo Rwanda team in a market visit to the Kigali Central Business District. Divided into four, the teams aimed to accomplish three main things during Blue Friday.
Firstly, to meet potential customers and extol to them the advantages of buying a Tigo SIM and joining the 2.3 million Rwandans on the network. Secondly, to educate customers about our new product, Facebook Flex. Lastly, to inform the Kigali public about the recently launched new call tariff.
In his message to staff before the visit, GM Philip Amoateng said: “Blue Friday is about meeting our customers, listening to our customers, reassuring our customers and selling SIMs. Let us show our customers that we care about them and listen to their needs.”
